My incredible good luck continues. In the ~5.5 Million hands I've played in my poker career, nothing tops how well I've run the last five days. If I had a run like this during the World Series, I'd have won a minimum of 3 bracelets and been anointed poker's next great superstar. What a fickle game we play.
I seriously doubt I'll ever go on a run like this again particularly in such a short amount of time so it's well worth reveling in.
boggle boggle goes my mind. enjoy the fruits of your labor, happy holidays!
ReplyDeletelol Merry Christmas!! when you done with the run good can you pass it over?
ReplyDeleteThat's crazy, especially the 30 60. Congrats

ReplyDeleteThanks Jeff, Merry Christmas to you too. Good luck on the green felt while I'm gone - I want a 10-ball rematch when I get back!
ReplyDeleteReally awesome run Tony! I'd be interested to hear your thoughts about metagame during stretch of hands... specifically, if you've noticed people playing somewhat differently vs you (because you can't have it EVERY time, even if you can) and if you've been able to leverage that into even further gains.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ryan.
ReplyDeleteThe metagame has been interesting. I feel as though some players are just staying out of my way as much as possible. With these players it seems like they're folding a lot more to my 2 and 3 barrels, 3-betting me less, and defending less. This could just be them always holding bad cards so it's hard to say. But there's also been a lot of players that have taken the opposite approach, thinking I can't always have it and must be stealing a lot of pots. I'm seeing players mistakenly put in extra bets on the turn and river where they wouldn't normally do it. I can understand this because I've been on the other side of it - sometimes you feel like you're getting run over and need to fight back particularly when you're not able to the see the opponent's cards and keep folding over and over to them.
